Extraction & Concentration
This process involves isolating the pure extracts and active bio-available extracts from the respective plant media or parts. It is done after drying to the minimum moisture content and then chopping or grinding to an optimum size to extract the most from the plant parts. Based on our quality team instruction, material would be sent to soak in a suitable solvent that enriches the desirable properties of the molecules that generally intended to extract. The quality of the extracts is highly dependent on the conditions of the environment in which they are processed. In order to attain this, it is maintained at optimum conditions of temperature, pressure and moisture all throughout the process. After this, we pass the material through a custom-designed filtration system to filter out undesirable impurities.
We then evaporate the solvent under carefully managed and at optimum temperature conditions with plant capacity of evaporating at 670 – 1500 kg/hr. This process gives us the Menstruum or the crude extract, a high-concentrated active compound that can be further purified and formulated to meet with clients’ requirements. Then is the process of separating pure extracts from undesirable impurities, and also concentrates the active ingredients.
Drying
Drying removes moisture or solvent traces if any held in the active compounds. This concentrates the weight of solid ingredients, prolonging shelf life, and enhances intrinsic therapeutic properties of the herbs and stopping bacterial growth. Drying under controlled heat application beholds the natural properties of herbal molecules.
Blending and Packing
Herein the material is made uniform by standard unit operations involving milling, sieving and blending to uniformity in quality, particle size, colour etc., the final output will be the extract powder as per the customer’s requirement and then perform a final blending process before packaging as per customers’ requirements and releasing the export-quality products to QA
